Supra and its Metaverse Multiverse Program

The Korean fashion giant “Supra” sold out their first NFT project. The public sale for 150 exclusive fashion NFTs from Supra went live on May 13 this year with a floor price of 0.15 ETH and the project sold out within minutes of its launch on OpenSea. The project marks the beginning of a multi-level metaverse multiverse program that aims to create a unique and interactive world of fashion, music, and drama using K-pop, NFTs, and apparel for its users. 

Supra was recently acquired by the Korean fashion giant F&F last year and transitioned into a metaverse fashion brand that aims to blend physical and virtual fashion for its users through the metaverse. It is planning to launch the “Supra Multiverse” which revolves around a virtual K-pop character RARA. An AI-based robot that has learned music through deep learning and now wants to make a career in K-pop. The multiverse has some additional characters that help RARA succeed in her shenanigans like Rick Huxley, Blob, and CB2515. 

Rick Huxley is a super-rich bored ape inspired by the famous BAYC #7298 that supports RARA in her journey. Blob is RARA’s best friend and has the power to teleport through the multiverses, and CB2515 is the robot that feeds data into RARA’s system to help her learn more about music. Supra has captured the fame of the BAYC NFTs through this project and made a name for themselves in the realm of web 3.

The “Supra Multiverse Stage 1” NFTs are the first set of digital assets launched by the brand that rewards holders with physical apparel twins of their NFTs and a whitelist spot in the upcoming “Supra Multiverse Stage 2” NFTs featuring RARA herself. A total of 500 Supra NFTs were launched out of which 300 were sold through the pre-sale event between 11 and 13 May, 150 were sold through an open sale, and 50 were held by Supra.

NFT holders also get early access to RARA’s music in the multiverse and an invitation to special events across the globe after the release of the K-pop webtoon featuring RARA, Rick, Blob, and CB2515 in the multiverse.

Public Roadmap

The project will be launched in multiple phases and aims to be one of the biggest and the most exclusive music and entertainment projects in the metaverse:

 

  • Fashion Digital Twin Supra Edition 

This is the initial phase of the project where Supra will launch digital fashion NFTs and their physical twins that will be rewarded to the NFTs holders. “Supra Multiverse Phase 1” and “Supra Multiverse Phase 2” are part of this stage.

 

  • K-pop Monotree

In the next stage, Supra will go ahead with the development and introduction of digital K-pop personalities like RARA and organize multiple musical performances and events.

 

  • NFT Tech with Lambda 256

Supra will collaborate with Cypher.ly to enhance the NFT experience for their users by incorporating features like live NFTs, and NFT verification to provide high stability to holders.

 

  • 2D and 3D art built on Trust and Unique Sensibilities

Supra will collaborate with world-class VFX partners to create a unique pipeline to build unique characters and content and introduce interoperability of NFTs across different metaverses.

 

  • Metaverse CLO

Metaverse CLO will provide digital and physical fashion across all the Supra metaverses and physical stores to ensure people can represent their unique personalities across all worlds physical or digital.

 

  • Publishing K-Webtoon

Supra will launch the K-webtoon in the final stage of the project which will be a nexus of spinoff stories of all the characters involved that take place inside the Supra city in the metaverse.

The Supra Multiverse is one of the grandest metaverse projects in the industry with a scale that far outshines any other fashion brand that has already ventured into the metaverse. The project is drawing millions of eyesight and is perhaps one of the most effective web3 marketing campaigns ever to exist. 

 

Marketing Analysis

Supra is a Korean fashion brand that has been on the market for many years, and digital projects such as this one show the world that Supra is willing to take risks with its marketing strategy in order to reach a wider range of buyers. 

The success of this NFT digital project shows that there is a market for NFT products if they are produced for an international market. It will be interesting to see what other brands like Supra will decide to do with NFTs in the near future. So they are also planning to develop their own cryptocurrency.

By doing this, these brands can trigger new demands from their customers by creating the metaverse which will create more demand for their products. So for us, we think, that this trend will stay also in the next two years and it is no hype, but instead, something that is here to stay as long as there are open-minded and curious people in this world with money to spend on new trends.
